My Goals for the 30 Day Thesis Theme Experiment (for My Personal Finance Blog)

I want to double my average visitors per day. My goal is to have 324 visitors each day on average by November 23, 2008.
I want to increase my subscribers to 300.

Today’s Issues and Thoughts:

The experiment is winding down soon and I wanted to give an update of my blog’s stats. My subscriber is at 184. I got 3 days to get that up 116 subscribers, LOL. Any ideas on that? As you can see by the chart below I’m averaging 127 a day for visits.

While the numbers for my goals do look like they are being met, I’m making more money with my site since moving to thesis. I think part of this is due to getting more traffic from search.

I’m having a good time with my personal finance blog and tomorrow I’m writing about how I saved $60/night for our 2nd anniversary coming up. I’m real excited about keeping the costs down. We got the Raddison, which is nice change from our usual Days Inn. It’s not that Days Inn is bad, but we seem to get the ones that are really messed up. The one in Richmond had no A/C for the this past summer. The one in Maryland had a busted lock. That’s what we get for looking for the cheapest without reading the reviews.

Sometimes I have a planned post for the site on a certain topic and I can’t seem to finish it. I have 4 drafts just waiting to be complete, but I haven’t gotten it done. On the other hand, real life serves me up some ideas and I just jot them down as I think about it. My problem is that I have to go back and edit what I write. I’m working on it.
